Vanilla Bar & Cafe – The Japanese Inspired Cafe.

As mentioned before, I’m starting to appreciate the surroundings around my office area. Thanks to all the restaurant entrepreneurs who are setting up their shops around Raffles Place / Tanjong Pagar.

We wanted to have our Christmas Eve lunch meal over at Vanilla Bar & Café last year but the there was  a private function. This is one of the new Japanese-inspired Café in Singapore. Will we be seeing more of such shop? I certainly wouldn’t mind if the food is good.

Upon stepping into the café, there’s a nice scent of vanilla aroma in the air. The place smells really good.

You probably wouldn’t have expected such a lovely place to be opened at the business district.

The food prices are decent and priced between $6-$10 bucks. We had Tonkatsu Don and Yakiniku Don, with an extra $1.50 for freshly brewed coffee. The bill came up to $22. This is not their Signature dishes but it was of decent quality. If you don’t like your rice with some spicy garnish, do let the staff know in advance.

If you are willing to spend a bit more during lunch, business lunch, or looking for some cosy place for a meal, Vanilla Bar & Café is the place for you then.

Craving for some good breakfast on a weekday? Vanilla Bar & Café serves all day breakfast as well.

Their desserts menu looks promising. Shall bring the girlfriend here another day. Probably on a Saturday?

Aloha Harris, Their menu is erm well, pretty limited. If i didn’t remember wrongly, There’s about only 4-5 items for their All-Day breakfast.

There’s about 6-8 items for their desserts. But the place is lovely. I kinda of like it. I totally forget i’m at Raffles place when i’m there.

Hi girl, It’s definitely more to the pricey side for lunch since we can easily get like $3-$5 meals around the corner. But there’s always days that we want to pamper and perk ourselves up! So Go go! Let me know how it goes! :D

But there’s only about 4-5 items on their All day breakfast! Price range $6-$10 bucks as well. Decent i would say for a cafe.
