Next Door Cafe, Arab Street

January 26, 2010

It was scorning hot on Sunday. We are really getting old and we simply just want to hide from the sun so Y brought me to this café.  Now, I remember. I had this place scribble on my notebook some time back and I almost forgot about it. True enough, It always comes when you least expect it.

Cozy little place.

The weather was crazy on Sunday. Where’s my cap and shades?

We were too full from Brunch and Lunch. And we merely opt for a pot of tea (SGD $7)  to share.

We also had their Affogatto (Vanilla Ice Cream, Espresso and Chocolate) SGD$7.50

I can’t say much about the food but I really have to admit, it was a good place to relax on a Sunday afternoon. Here’s the menu for you. (Grab the Cushion Seats :) )

It was very quiet on Sunday afternoon. Next door café is a small, cozy yet charming in its own ways. They served over 50 kinds of Beers. Interesting

As we sipped our teas, we enjoyed the quiet ambience where lovely 1960s – 1980s music was playing softly throughout their little café.

I like their quirky layout.

It was very relaxing indeed. A good way to end our day. :)

Yeah, Will be back to try their 50 different beers. Not all of them course :) But it was good to just laze around that afternoon. :) I’ve probably said this a dozen thanks but still thanks for doing the hard work for organizing for us :)

Not too sure about the weekday crowds though. But it was good on a Sunday afternoon. Peaceful. No disturbance. Totally different from the insane madness crowd over at Bugis Area. :D
